The Technical Manager will lead the technical direction for projects, ensuring excellence in engineering, reliability, safety, and sustainability across complex integrated facilities. This position requires a highly experienced and strategic professional capable of managing intricate long-term technical projects while collaborating with creative teams to deliver world-class experiences.

  • Oversee and guide engineering contributions to ensure technical, regulatory, and safety compliance while maintaining creative intent.
  • Review and approve all ride and show-related drawings and technical deliverables.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to execution, technology, and project schedules.
  • Ensure ADA compliance for attractions and shows.
  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight across all project phases, from concept and feasibility to design, production, construction, technical delivery, testing, and commissioning.
  • Develop field installation strategies, supervise vendor execution, and oversee testing and system adjustments.
  • Balance safety, technical requirements, budget constraints, scheduling, and creative vision in all decision-making.

Experience & Expertise

  • Supervise the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced technical systems.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry safety regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical expertise to facilitate seamless handovers to operational and maintenance teams.
  • Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates with theme park industry expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an innovative and organized approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep understanding of complex technical systems used in live entertainment and theme park environments.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in architectural scenography, engineering, and construction is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
