Job description

We are a rapidly growing FMCG distribution company with presence in both Singapore and Malaysia looking for Potential candidate to fill up vacancy at Malaysia.

The successful candidate will be put in-charge of the company’s distribution, movement and storage of its supplies.

Main duties include reviewing budgets, processing shipments and building delivery routes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead functional teams (Inventory / Picking / Packing / Admin / Distribution) staffs in the department to perform according to set SOPs.
  • Manage daily operations including manpower schedule planning and disciplinary matters.
  • Resolve daily operational issues including implementing effective short/long term measures (SOPs/System) to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Safe Work Procedures (SWP) at work areas. Identify and Conduct / Review WSH Risk Assessment (RA) as and when required.
  • Maintain best practice operating standards and adhere to Food Safety systems (e.g. HACCP/ISO/HALAL) implemented by the company.
  • Manage inventory in the ERP/WMS systems and ensuring physical movements of goods processes mirror system processes to maintain accuracy of stocks, including Receiving, transfers and issuing of stocks.
  • Manage inbound shipments & coordinate the trucking in/out with shipping agents/transporter
  • Manage the transfers, receiving, issuing and returns of inventory between warehouses and intercompany departments, 3rd Party Logistics/Warehouses.
  • Manage whole spectrum of Inbound, Put away, Storage and Outbound operations of Warehouse & Logistics.
  • Good knowledge of inter-states network connection.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting of Inventory (Holding/Ageing), Delivery fulfilment and Team KPIs.
  • Ensure the proper upkeep of related documentation and filing, including the posting of inventory transactions into the ERP/WMS systems.
  • Collaborate closely with principle and clients to build strong and long-lasting relationships
  • Other assignments or duties that may be required by Management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
