- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science or any other related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a palm oil mill and plantation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Based in Lahad Datu, Sabah.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop compliance programs and implement programs to follow MSPO, FSC, and other standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits across the plantation & mill to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks in the workplace.
- Stay up to date with changes in safety regulations and industry trends and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
- Develop an OSH Plan and PPE programmed.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies, including NREB, DOE, DOSH, etc.
- Coordinate and lead routine safety meetings.
- Other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
