Reporting to the General Manager in Malaysia, the Assistant Manager plays a key role in the success of A&P/brand marketing plans, overseeing the development and execution of projects and initiatives. The role also supports CRM to align with both short- and long-term marketing strategies.
The Assistant Manager collaborates with internal business partners, including operations, F&B, and finance teams, to ensure all initiatives align with the brand promise. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will lead the management of internal and external partners, handling all aspects of their projects.
- Overall responsible for Malaysia Food brand development work including developing marketing strategies and plans, advertising, promotions, creative projects, media relations, sponsorships and event management.
- Oversee the CRM infrastructure and platform to ensure it works seamlessly across the Company and for customers. Leveraging this platform, to plan and deliver CRM strategies to encourage customer retention and customer loyalty.
- Develop revenue and profit growth strategies for the business and take charge of the tactical execution of the brand’s marketing communication initiatives in support of the business strategy, market goals, and organizational objectives. She/he will take the lead and when needed, coordinate campaigns and communications through all phases of launch and maintenance, including reporting, analysis and optimization.
- Work with the Operations team to develop the brand positioning and marketing plans and develop and deliver presentations pitch to Landlords and key stakeholders during key stakeholders’ meetings.
- Leading the team to work closely with key stakeholders that include internal and external tenants, Operations and the F&B team to develop and execute creative projects, brand marketing and sponsorships.
- Work and lead the team in delivering and implementing campaigns and projects. She/he must be proactive, with a strong sense of accountability and a day-to-day focus on results. This role requires a strategic and analytical approach to monitoring and improving ROI. Has to prepare and manage budgets for various marketing and branding initiatives to achieve cost efficiencies.
- This is an ideal role for an experienced, organized and detail-oriented marcom professional with a strong background in FMCG/retail environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree / Diploma in Mass Communication / Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant brand management, marketing and CRM experience, preferably in the F&B/ FMCG industry
