The role involves identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and promoting innovative, sustainable waste management solutions. Success in this role requires a balance of strategic planning, effective communication, and adherence to industry regulations while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

· Market ResearchConduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements within the waste management sector to inform strategic decisions.

· Client AcquisitionIdentify and secure new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors by leveraging market insights and developing tailored waste solutions.

· Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business through consistent engagement and high-quality service delivery.

· Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement strategies to expand the company’s market footprint and achieve sales targets in alignment with organizational goals.

· Proposal DevelopmentPrepare and present compelling proposals and pitches that effectively communicate the value of the company’s waste management solutions to prospective clients.

· CollaborationWork closely with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and align strategies with business objectives.

· Compliance and ReportingStay updated on industry regulations and standards, ensuring all client solutions comply with environmental and waste management laws. Provide regular reports on sales activities and performance metrics to management.

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, or a related field.

· Proven experience in business development, preferably within waste management or a similar industry.

· Strong understanding of waste management solutions and sustainability principles.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

· Self-driven, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and in a team.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
