1. Audit daily sales record and supporting charges submitted by Night Audit to ensure accuracy and correctness and investigate any discrepancies.

2. Ensures accuracy and correctness of In House Guest Ledger Balance.

3. Checks ‘Room Sales Recap’ against ‘Post Room and Tax Report’.

4. Checks ‘Housekeeping’s Report’ against room status by floor for variances and obtain satisfactory explanations from department concerned.

5. Checks Banquet Checks :

  • Ensures all items stated in the function sheets are charged correctly.
  • Verifies the number of covers served (guaranteed covers) to the number of covers charged for banquet.
  • Ensures all revised of rate or covers are supported by Amendment.

6. Checks all complimentary stay (with or without Gift Certificate issued / used) to ensure all were supported by appropriate approved form.

7. Verifies and Completes General Cashier’s summary :

  • Verifies the total collections against the ‘Cashier Shift Balance & Cash Summary Report’.
  • Checks gain on foreign exchange totals against the Money Changer’s Summary and Bank Deposit slips.
  • Records, analyses and investigates all cashier’s overages / shortages.

8. To prepare Hotel Month End Revenue closing journal.

9. Prepare monthly Tips Payable Summary for General Cashier.

10. Reconcile City Ledger balances against Accounts Receivable.

11. Conduct periodic cash count on cashier and investigate any discrepancies.

12. Ensure Service Tax and Service Charge are prepared and submitted on time.

13. Monitor if there’s any outstanding dummy.

14. To ensure no outstanding / Check out with balance amount pending.

15. Investigate if any discrepancies and obtain explanations from Cashier or Manager concerned.

16. Perform any other duties assigned by the Account Manager from time to time.

17. Attends daily briefing and management meeting in the absence of the Account Manager.
