Job Summary:

The HR Intern will assist the Human Resources team in various administrative and operational tasks related to HR functions, audits, and workplace safety. This internship provides hands-on experience in HR processes, employee relations, compliance, and safety management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Administrative Support

  • Assist in maintaining and updating employee records and HR databases.
  • Support the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Assist in the onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
  • Handle document filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks.

2. HR Compliance & Audit Support

  • Assist in preparing and organizing HR documents for internal and external audits.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
  • Conduct periodic HR file audits to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Support HR in implementing corrective actions based on audit findings.

3. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Support initiatives related to employee well-being and workplace culture improvement.
  • Help handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

4. Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Support

  • Assist in implementing workplace safety programs and policies.
  • Support HR and safety officers in conducting safety audits and inspections.
  • Help maintain records of workplace incidents and safety compliance reports.
  • Assist in safety awareness training and campaigns.

5. Training & Development

  • Help coordinate employee training programs and track participation records.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and reports.
  • Support HR in evaluating training effectiveness and feedback collection.

6. Other HR-Related Tasks

  • Support payroll and benefits administration processes when required.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary procedures and documentation.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Safety & Health, or a any related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Interest in HR, compliance, and workplace safety.
