  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Youniverse Games is on a mission to disrupt the metacommerce and UGC (User-Generated Content) gaming space with Youniverse, our immersive social gaming platform. Much like Roblox but targeted at later teens and adults, Youniverse combines life simulation, social interactions, multiplayer games, and metacommerce. Players can socialize, customize their avatars and living spaces, play and create games, and even earn money through creative in-game experiences.

Currently available on Steam with mobile (iOS and Android) builds nearly ready, we’re gearing up for the next stage of growth. We’re looking for Game QA Testers to ensure our gaming experience is polished, stable, and fun. The Role

As a Game QA Tester, you will play a critical role in identifying and reporting bugs, ensuring smooth gameplay, and improving overall game quality before release. You will work closely with developers and designers to identify issues, document findings, and verify fixes across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Gameplay Features: Playtest new game mechanics, multiplayer interactions, and in-game experiences to ensure they function as intended.
  • Identify and Report Bugs: Document game-breaking bugs, performance issues, and usability problems with clear and detailed reports.
  • Test Across Platforms: Ensure that Youniverse runs smoothly on PC (Steam), mobile (iOS & Android), and WebGL by testing various configurations.
  • Performance Testing: Identify frame rate drops, crashes, and other technical issues that impact the player experience.
  • Regression Testing: Re-test resolved issues to confirm fixes and ensure new updates do not introduce unintended bugs.
  • Write Test Cases & Reports: Develop structured test plans, document test results, and communicate findings effectively with the development team.
  • Work Closely with Developers: Provide detailed feedback to developers, help reproduce complex issues, and collaborate on solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Passion for Games: A deep interest in gaming, especially in multiplayer, UGC, and social games.

Attention to Detail: Ability to spot bugs, glitches, and inconsistencies that might impact gameplay.

Logical & Analytical Thinking: Ability to troubleshoot issues systematically and document them clearly.

Basic Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with game engines (Unity is a plus), testing tools, and bug tracking software (Jira, Trello, or similar).

Experience with Different Platforms: PC and mobile (iOS & Android) gaming experience is preferred.

Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly describe and document issues in writing.

Team Player: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with developers, designers, and fellow testers.

Fresh graduates with a gaming or IT-related background are encouraged to apply!
