The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the hotel’s management and operational teams. This role is responsible for handling clerical duties, coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Administration Manager, department heads, and other hotel staff as required.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain and update hotel records, files, and documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling and calendar management for senior staff.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as assigned.
  • Manage hotel licenses, permits, and renewals, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors as necessary.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Familiarity with hotel management systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
