Position overview
Are you interested in exploring the world of Procurement at the world’s leading industrial coatings resins company? allnex is looking for a talented professional to join the GBS Procurement team as an Indirect Procurement Specialist.
You will handle tasks such as running reports and analytics, and work closely with various departments to optimize procurement strategies. This role also offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and efficiency of our procurement operations. Responsibilities
- Create and update master data and price lists in SAP to support the buying process.
- Generate Purchase Orders and follow up as needed to ensure timely processing.
- Resolve invoice deviations and develop strategies to prevent future discrepancies.
- Participate in projects aimed at automating non-value-added tasks to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Planning, Accounting, Data Management, and Logistics.
- Onboard suppliers to the Ariba Network and train both planners and suppliers on exchanging documents electronically.
- Work closely with suppliers to address issues such as price deviations, complaints, and delivery problems.
- Run Procurement Reports and conduct data analytics to support decision-making.
- Manage mass communications to suppliers for streamlined information sharing.
- Provide training to internal stakeholders on indirect procurement processes and transactions within the ERP system.
Required skills and experience
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in GBS procurement is an added advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong computer skills.
- Understanding in SAP is an added advantage
- Organised, accurate, and proactive.
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently while integrating well within a team.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
