Key Responsibilities: Accounting : 1. Supervise and mentor for accountants, providing regular performance feedback and training to support skill development 2. Delegate and review work to ensure accuracy and efficiency within the team Oversee the daily accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes 3. Manage cash flow and bank reconciliations, ensuring financial transactions are properly documented and categorized. 4. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. 5. Assist in audit preparations, coordinate with external auditors when required, and address any audit-related queries to ensure smooth processes 6. Identify opportunities for improvement within accounting workflows and internal controls, recommending solutions to streamline operations. 7. Lead initiatives to implement new tools or best practices, enhancing reporting accuracy and efficiency. 8. Work closely with other departments to gather and analyze financial data, supporting decision-making and budgeting. 9. Partner with finance leadership to address cross-department financial concerns and optimize resources. 10. Manage upwards by directly and/or indirectly reporting to the Managing Director and owner, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
