Job Opportunity: Seafood Process Worker We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Seafood Process Workers to join our team. As a key member of our production process, you will play an important role in maintaining product quality and efficiency in seafood processing. Key Responsibilities: -Sort, Inspect & Grade: Ensure seafood products meet size and quality standards. -Prepare Seafood: Perform tasks such as skinning, trimming, washing, gilling, gutting, filleting, and descaling. -Quality Control: Check products and packaging for defects, ensuring compliance with company standards. -Machine Operation: Operate machines to cut seafood into steak portions. -Packaging & Freezing: Accurately count and pack seafood for freezing; pack frozen seafood into cartons for dispatch. -Food Storage: Ensure proper storage and stock rotation practices are followed. -Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, tidy work environment to prevent cross-contamination. -Team Support: Assist other departments and foster a collaborative, positive work atmosphere. Job Requirements: -Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. -Work Environment: Comfortable working in cold, wet environments. -Communication Skills: Strong ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively. -Experience: Previous experience in fish processing, with attention to detail in sorting, cutting, cleaning, and packaging. -Fast-Paced: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment. -Flexibility: Willing to work long hours, weekends, and night shifts, especially during peak seasons. -Overtime: Open to working overtime as needed in a busy processing environment. -If you’re looking for a rewarding and dynamic job with opportunities for growth, apply today!
