Head of EAL

To teach and develop assessment for designated subjects. To develop lesson plans, instructional materials and activities based on the curriculum & co-curriculum to suit the needs of students. Planning, developing and implementing EAL curriculum and assessments for both international and national schools To instill discipline and maintain high standard of good student behavior in order to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom and school. To create an effective environment for learning through functional attractive displays, bulletin boards and interest centres. To evaluate students’ academic progress by regular assessments and proper recording of their results. To communicate with parents through conferences (PTC) and other means to discuss students’ progress and collect feedbacks on school programmes. To maintain professional competence through lesson observations and in-service training provided by professional growth activities. To be deployed according to the needs of the school from time to time. Liaising with and advising teachers, coordinating provision for children with EAL needs Training and supporting EAL teachers to ensure that quality of EAL is above expectation all the time Liaising with Heads of Primary and Secondary of both International and National Schools and parents regarding extractions and reintegration of students Any other duties as and when required by the school.
