-Provide professional counselling services to all students in UNITAR, walk in or referred by respective lectures/departments. - To organise, create and manage signature counselling programmes in improving awareness on counselling programme and services offered. - Conduct workshops and seminars on study skills or any other seminars on students development - Collaborate & maintain a working relationship with faculty, exam unit, admission & records and other relevant stakeholder to curate significant counselling activities in addressing target group. - Handle ad-hoc, student emergency cases that requires counsellor's intervention. - Adhere to counselling guidelines set by Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia - Organise & coordinate orientation for new intake. - To provide training, curate orientation activities & guide all the facilitators during the orientation to ensure new students are welcomed into community. - Provide appropriate guidance & advise to UNITAR Student Bodies members. - To assist in programmes and activities organised by University's Student Bodies. - Assist in Alumni's Tracers initiative. - Undertake the essential administration of Student Affairs department (reports, data compilation and to provide relevant support to students within the unitar's framework, including being a member of frontline of Student Experience. - Keep accurate, systematic records of counselling sessions and ensure compliance with the University policies in providing services. - Support in Student Experience activities (Dean's List, Convocation, Alumni, Sports Activities & University's events). - Perform any other duties relating to the above which may be assigned by your superior from time to time. REQUIREMENTS: -Master's degree in Counseling or a related field. -Registered with Lembaga Kaunseling Malaysia. -Proven experience in providing counselling services in a higher education setting. -Experience in program development and management. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Collaboration Skills: -Ability to collaborate with various university units and stakeholders. -Ability to handle crisis or emergency situations and provide timely intervention. -Familiarity with and commitment to adhering to professional counselling standards and ethics. -Adaptability to handle diverse responsibilities and duties as assigned.
