INTERVENTIONIST (ECO MAJESTIC)

The Teacher Interventionist is responsible for providing targeted instructional support to students who are struggling academically. This role involves assessing students' needs, developing and implementing individualized interventions, and collaborating with classroom teachers and parents to promote student success. Key Responsibilities: Student Assessment: Conduct assessments to identify students’ academic strengths and areas needing improvement. Analyze data from various assessments to determine intervention needs and strategies. Intervention Planning: Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment data. Create instructional materials and resources tailored to students’ specific needs. Instructional Support: Provide small-group or one-on-one instruction to students requiring additional help. Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to support students' learning and progress. Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with classroom instruction. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding students’ progress and strategies for support at home. Progress Monitoring: Track and document students’ progress through regular assessments and observations. Adjust intervention strategies based on student progress and feedback. Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in educational interventions and instruction. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Behavior Management: Implement and reinforce positive behavior management strategies to support a conducive learning environment. Address behavioral issues that may impact students’ academic performance. Resource Management: Utilize and manage educational resources and tools effectively to support intervention efforts. Identify and recommend additional resources or materials needed for effective instruction. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of students’ progress, intervention strategies, and outcomes. Prepare reports and communicate findings to school administrators and other stakeholders. Team Participation: Participate in meetings with the school’s intervention team, special education team, and other relevant groups. Contribute to school-wide initiatives and programs aimed at improving student achievement.
