1. Programming & Debugging:
- Develop and optimize CNC machining programs based on part drawings and process requirements.
- Debug programs on machines to ensure accurate tool paths and cutting parameters.
2. Machining Operations:
- Operate CNC machines to perform milling, drilling, boring, and tapping tasks.
- Ensure machining quality, maintaining dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
- Conduct daily maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and component inspection.
- Identify and report equipment abnormalities and assist in troubleshooting.
4. Quality Control:
- Perform first-piece inspection, in-process checks, and final inspection using measuring tools.
- Analyze and address nonconformities with corrective actions.
5. Coordination & Support:
- Assist engineers in optimizing machining processes and participating in new product trials.
- Communicate tooling and fixture needs with the procurement team.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.
1. Education:
- Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Technology, Mechatronics, or related fields.
2. Skills:
- Proficient in operating common CNC control systems such as Fanuc and Mitsubishi.
- Expertise in CNC programming, with strong command of G-code and M-code.
- Familiar with at least one CAD/CAM software.
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for precise dimension measurement.
- Understanding of CNC machine structure and electrical principles, with basic troubleshooting skills.
3. Work Experience & Communication:
- Basic English communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Ability to communicate with local colleagues, suppliers, and customers in Malaysia and read English technical documents.
4. Other Requirements:
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and precise in work execution.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
