Job Description:
- To carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with the contact specification and drawings, current legislation and standard policy
- To assist, instruct and advise contactors on site, on matters related to quality control, and the interpretation of contact documents
- To prepare reports on progress, site activities and all other related matters
- To be responsible for the supervision and monitoring of construction works in accordance with the contract and construction drawings especially in respect of specifications, quality and time of completion
- To ensure that all materials delivered to site are conform to the approved specifications and the project’s inspection test plan
- To identify all remedial/outstanding works to be carried out and to ensure that those works are carried out by the contactors within the time stipulated in the contracts
- To regularly report to relevant superiors on the progress of the works and the problem areas encountered especially in respect of defective, outstanding or non-conforming works or delayed works
- To keep all relevant forms, documents, correspondences and records in respect of the progress of works such as daily work record with encompasses labor force, machinery and weather records
- Attend and coordinate all M&E matters with various Consultants, Contractors and relevant Authorities.
- Participate in construction management processes to ensure smooth progress of M&E works.
- To implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work constructions as so defined in the Company’s Quality Management System
- Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/management
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Cert in Mechanical & Electrical from Technical Institution or above
- At least 3 years working experience in related field
- Initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation and reporting skills
- Preferably with experiences in supervising landed/township residential product or similar projects
- Registered with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) as Inspector of Works (IOW)
