Procurement & Material Control Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for leading and managing complex procurement activities and ensuring that the organization acquires goods and services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This role involves strategic planning, supplier negotiation, and oversight of procurement operations to align with organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • To monitor, evaluate and control supplier / sub-contractor for accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing.
  • To get tax exemption on all taxable materials from local or overseas via documentation which compliance with customs acts regulation.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Compare at least 3 quotations before make decision.
  • Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with other departments to ensure adequate supply.
  • Monitor order status and follow up on any delays or discrepancies.
  • To get tax exemption on all taxable materials from local or overseas via documentation which compliance with customs acts regulation.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procurement regulations, and legal requirements.
  • To ensure SST report accurate and on time.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in procurement or purchasing roles, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a senior or leadership position.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of supply chain management, contract law, procurement best practices, and market trends.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Primarily office-based, with occasional visits to supplier sites or other company locations.
  • May require occasional travel for supplier meetings or industry events.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage.
