Procurement & Material Control Executive/Senior Executive is responsible for leading and managing complex procurement activities and ensuring that the organization acquires goods and services in an efficient and cost-effective manner. This role involves strategic planning, supplier negotiation, and oversight of procurement operations to align with organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- To monitor, evaluate and control supplier / sub-contractor for accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing.
- To get tax exemption on all taxable materials from local or overseas via documentation which compliance with customs acts regulation.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Compare at least 3 quotations before make decision.
- Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with other departments to ensure adequate supply.
- Monitor order status and follow up on any delays or discrepancies.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procurement regulations, and legal requirements.
- To ensure SST report accurate and on time.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Extensive experience in procurement or purchasing roles, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a senior or leadership position.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of supply chain management, contract law, procurement best practices, and market trends.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Primarily office-based, with occasional visits to supplier sites or other company locations.
- May require occasional travel for supplier meetings or industry events.
- Proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage.
