Reporting Locations (multiple options): Shah Alam (Central)/ Kuantan (East Coast)/ Penang (Northern)
Responsibilities:
- Develop new accounts and open new markets
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, explaining products or services to customers and prospective customer
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements including planning and modifying products to meet customer needs
- Helps clients solve installed equipment problems with a sense of urgency
- Develop and maintain good relationships with prospective customers, new customers, and existing customers
- Persuade customers about the excellence of our products and services
- Establish a customer database, and accurately maintain a CRM system and other relevant tools to manage sales activities, opportunities, and pipelines.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, annual sales targets, and yearly market planning
- Meet established sales quota and revenue goals
Qualification:
- Possess a Diploma, Degree, or Postgraduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering field
- At least 1 year of working experience and a proven record in sales for engineering products
- Knowledgeable in engineering product applications such as:
- Centrifugal Pump
- Gear/Lobe Pump
- Vacuum Pump
- Compressor
- Plate Heat Exchanger
- Actuator
- Valve
- Tubes and Fittings
- Experience in dealing business with General Industries such as:
- Pharmaceutical
- Semiconductor
- Printing and Packaging
- Food and Beverage
- Personal Care
- Brewery
- Palm Oil and Oleo Chemical, etc.
- Chemical
- Able to deliver presentations to customers and integrate technical knowledge and selling skills
- Good command of English in writing, speaking, and reading
- Good in pricing and negotiating skills
- Possess own transport and willing to travel (Up to Penang as well)
- Negotiable on the remuneration package
