Job Scope
Flexi Versa Group Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a talented and dedicated EHS Officer to join our team. As an EHS Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of OHS and Environmental policies and programs
  • Implement and maintain effective EHS policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery, etc.)
  • Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and support to employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences
  • Establish an EHS Committee, manage and devise the agenda, chair, and formulate & distribute minutes for the Health & Safety Committee meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a strong safety culture and workplace well-being
  • Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a safety officer (Green Book holder)**
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an EHS Officer or in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  • Proficient in data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
