Job Description:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders to support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Monitor regulatory and policy developments that may impact the courier and logistics industry and provide timely advice and recommendations to the management team.
  • Represent the company at meetings, briefings, and events organized by government entities to ensure the company's interests are well - represented.
  • Facilitate the company's compliance with local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements by coordinating with internal teams and external authorities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, and submissions for government bodies as needed.
  • Draft official letters, feedback, and key communication materials in both Bahasa Malaysia and English with a high standard of clarity and professionalism.
  • Act as the company's spokesperson when engaging with government officers to foster positive and effective communication.
  • Organize and manage corporate events, including CSR initiatives, community engagement programs, and sponsorship activities to enhance the company's public image.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in government relations, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, with exceptional writing and speaking abilities.
  • Possess own transportation and willingness to travel for work - related engagements.
