About the role

Euro-Tech Asia International Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kulai, Johor. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the service & production department providing engineering support, improvement plan and regular customer site visit or site work. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on projects from different industries.

What you'll be doing

  • Inspection of rotating equipment like industrial gear, geared motor, fluid coupling and preparation of reports.
  • Conducting performance and reliability testing to ensure the quality of rotating equipment
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to service and production department
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • Providing technical support and guidance to production and sales & service teams
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry
  • Proficient in the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work with team or independently
