Job Description:
- Developing a project master schedule per the proposal/project requirements in Primavera P6 software.
- Knowledge of developing Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), project deliverables, required tasks & project milestones.
- Working knowledge of project resource planning, resource & cost allocations, and activity sequencing.
- Coordinate internal project team reviews, followed by approval and review by the client on the work schedules, progress measurements, and reporting systems.
- Implement the work schedule and monitor the progress of the work in accordance to the schedule and produce tracking charts in daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Carry out Delay Tracking and assessments of Extensions of Time and the associated schedule impacts against the baseline.
- Identify, propose and develop mitigation plans and recovery schedules.
- Able to perform progress monitoring of specific projects regularly; and subsequently anticipate and resolve any problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts.
- Able to perform Project CPM analysis and Project Resource/Cost analysis.
- Able to develop project control documents according to industry standards such as resources histogram, schedules, reporting systems, material controls systems, etc.
- Ensure proper documentation & filing of progress records.
- Liaising with other relevant departments in a project to complete Project Control deliverables.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Superior.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), or equivalent.
- At least 5 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience in the planning of engineering projects – Building, Road, Rail/Metro/LRT/MRT.
- Extensive knowledge of the software tools Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office software, i.e., Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel/relocate.
