Responsibilities:
Warehouse department functions include the managing of warehouse personnel and complete warehouse distribution operations but is not exhaustive to include the following:
- Ensure integrity of the warehouse operations – efficiency, productivity, storage product identification of goods and inventory and occupational health and safety.
- Ensure smooth processing of delivery orders, packing and repacking of goods with the assistants of Warehouse subordinates.
- Responsible for any implementation to the warehouse distribution system to ensure completion of new projects or changes to the procedures/processes.
- Responsible for the complete warehousing documentations process flow, administrative and correspondences are conducted effectively.
- Ensure maintenance/ cleanliness/ sanitation and upkeep of the cold/ cool/ open temperature chain and the maintenance of the cold/ cool room and open storage warehousing and compound.
- Liaise/ source/ propose incoming shipping agents and delivery transporters and courier agents.
- Oversee logistics activity such as shipment of Outbound goods etc.
- To liaise with the government agencies such as Customs, export and import duty.
- Liaise with Commercial Admin Department on the stock planning and delivery.
- Liaise with the GMP (Production) executives/ managers for the smooth receipt and supply or finished and raw materials.
- To perform any other duties as and when required by the immediate Superior.
Requirements:
- Certificate/ Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Warehouse, Business, Retail Management or any related field.
- Preferably 5 years or more experience in handling Warehouse and Logistics operations; experience in GMP practices or pharmaceutical health industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) for pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in ISO 9001 & ISO 45001, GMP/ PICs Guidelines and etc.
- Demonstrate integrity and good work ethics
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office tools/ application
- Ability to manage multiple and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Possess own transport
- Based in Seksyen 51A, Petaling Jaya
- Applicant must be willing to travel to Nilai & Kapar.
