Responsibilities

  • Oversee facilities management and daily operations at Sunway International School (SIS).
  • Oversee the administration of Building Services Contracts and ensure that building licenses are renewed on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for the overall cleanliness of SIS. Plan and organise the housekeeping schedules and conduct audits on SIS premises.
  • Oversee the logistics and coordination of space movements on campus, ensuring optimum utilisation of rooms/hall spaces, teaching facilities & equipment and human resources available.
  • Plan and manage scheduled repairs and preventive maintenance on all electrical, mechanical, civil and instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting, repairs and supervision of all technicians and contractors.
  • Manage all renovation projects including coordinating with the operation teams and external parties (consultants, contractors, authorities).
  • Liaison for all authority documentation (e.g., drawings, licenses, building authority approvals, etc.) for building services on campus.
  • Responsible for tenancy agreements and tenancy contracts and matters related to tenants on campus.
  • Work with Sunway Education Group (SEG) Health & Safety Manager on matters pertaining to the safety of the campus (e.g., fire drills, evacuation team, etc.) and manage the sick bay.
  • Liaise with the SEG Asset Management team to manage the assets on SIS Campus.
  • Oversee matters related to building signages and wayfinding signages on campus.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Degree in Engineering and/or relevant technical competencies and experience.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in total and minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Multilingual language competency (verbal and written) will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented and a fast learner.
