1. Production/Warehouse Coordination- Collaborate with production teams to schedule and coordinate manufacturing activities in alignment with inventory requirements.
- To ensure smooth daily production and warehouse activities and close monitoring on the high level of accuracy in receiving, storage, retrieval, order preparation, and distribution to internally or external parties.
- Plan, direct and engage in daily packing and packaging operations.
- Assist in the operations of all warehousing including stock control, stock inventories, movements and security. E.g. Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse etc.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders and adherence to deadlines.
- Perform daily warehouse duties either at inbound (receiving, sorting, put-away) or outbound (pick/pack/release).
- Perform picking and packing function based on Job Schedule Board requirement for delivery. Do picker tasks on proper picking procedures.
- Communicate any production delays, shortages, or issues to the relevant stakeholders.
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
- Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date. Responsible for stock count and variance report.
- Ensure warehouse operation e.g. receiving, storage, update data into system, issuing are in order and did not interrupt Production operation.
- Reconcile cycle count and work with material handling associates to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure good store housekeeping to maintain a pleasant and clean environment. Keep neat and clean warehouse premises. Maintain a well-organized and clean warehouse space.
- To ensure all common areas within the warehouse and also the loading area are well kept and clean at all times.
- To make sure all other non-inventory items are arranged and stored neatly.
2. Inventory Management: - Monitor and manage inventory control. Maintain accurate inventory records of raw & packaging material. Ensure accurate recording of goods in the inventory management system.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventory audits.
- Communicate inventory levels and potential shortages to relevant stakeholders. Report damaged or missing inventory to superior. Assist to monitor and track inventory levels. Report discrepancies and work with the team to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Conduct retail inventory as and when task assigned.
3. Documentation and Record-Keeping:- Ensure materials are issued to production according to FIFO, quantity accuracy, on time and in proper logistic flow.
- Problem solve/troubleshoot production issues and recommend/implement changes to maximize production yields and efficiencies.
- Responsible to ensure all information and documentation (PO & DO) are all recorded accurately.
- Generate production reports and update relevant databases or systems.
- Any other duties as assigned by the superior/ management to you from time to time.
Male only.Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics is an advantage.Ability to handle, store, and manage inventory efficiently.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.Physical stamina to lift/move packages and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.Ability to work independently and in a team.
