  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Overview

UCSI Schools is looking for a passionate and experienced Expat English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons, fostering students' language proficiency, and cultivating a love for learning in an engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons based on the school’s curriculum.
  • Develop and implement instructional activities that cater to different learning styles and language proficiency levels.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and reports while providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in language use.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that enhances student engagement.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methodologies to develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the English language program.
  • Participate in school activities, including extracurricular programs and school events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of English teaching experience, preferably in an international or primary/secondary school setting.
  • Native or near-native English proficiency.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to engage students and adapt teaching methods to different learning needs.
