  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Homeroom Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, guiding students in their academic and personal growth, and fostering a love for lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
  • Provide pastoral care, ensuring students' well-being and social-emotional development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active learning.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress, behavior, and overall development.
  • Encourage positive behavior and discipline in line with school policies.
  • Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and field trips.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Passion for education, child development, and student engagement.
