  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Overview

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and innovative ICT Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Information and Communication Technology (ICT), fostering digital literacy, and equipping students with essential computing and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons that cover topics such as coding, programming, computer applications, and digital literacy.
  • Teach students how to use various software, hardware, and emerging technologies effectively.
  • Foster students' problem-solving and critical-thinking skills through interactive and hands-on projects.
  • Introduce students to cybersecurity, digital ethics, and responsible technology usage.
  • Guide students in coding, web development, and robotics (where applicable).
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends in technology and digital education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ICT into other subjects and enhance digital learning.
  • Participate in school activities, extracurricular clubs, and competitions related to ICT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in ICT.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, digital tools, and educational technology.
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and student engagement.
