We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join us in a Management Trainee capacity, assisting in executive management tasks across various domains, including financial analysis, business development, internal controls, and strategic planning. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, gaining hands-on experience in high-level decision-making and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & Proposal Development:
- Assist in crafting business proposals, executive summaries, white papers, and pitch decks.
- Conduct market research and compile data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Build compelling narratives for business initiatives and partnerships.
2. Financial Analysis & Projections:
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and revenue projections.
- Analyze financial statements, assess KPIs, and generate reports for internal use.
- Assist in structuring investment decks and funding proposals.
3. Presentation & Document Creation:
- Design and prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Draft executive reports, meeting notes, and strategic briefing documents.
- Summarize complex information into digestible formats for decision-makers.
4. Management & Operational Support:
- Take minutes of meetings and track follow-ups with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in internal controls, compliance checks, and corporate governance tasks.
- Support managers in various administrative and strategic activities.
5. Audit & Internal Controls:
- Work with leadership to implement internal control measures.
- Assist in financial and operational audits.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and governance frameworks.
6. Facilitation & Task Coordination:
- Support project management efforts by tracking deliverables and deadlines.
- Liaise with different departments and stakeholders for task execution.
- Handle ad-hoc management assignments as required.
Internship Requirements
Academic Background
We are looking for candidates currently pursuing or recently graduated from the following fields:
- Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (For financial analysis, proposals, strategy)
- Accounting or Auditing (For internal controls, compliance, financial projections)
- Management or Strategic Studies (For leadership exposure, business development, and operations)
- Law or Corporate Governance (For internal audit, policy compliance, documentation)
- Data Analytics or Statistics (For financial modeling and KPI assessment)
Skills & Qualities Required
- Strong analytical and financial skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for document drafting and presentations.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and other business documentation tools.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and take on leadership-oriented tasks.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
Preferred but Not Mandatory
- Experience with financial statements and corporate structuring.
- Familiarity with business models in fintech, financial services, or investments.
- Basic knowledge of corporate law, compliance, or governance.
