Job description

The purpose of the role is to manage examination procedures at the Veritas University College from submitting entries to communicating results. This is a crucial role and responsibilities will include the invigilation process, the exam room environment and student access requirements.

Examination Planning: Collaborate with the department head and other stakeholders to develop an examination schedule and plan. Determine the resources required, such as examination venues, invigilators, equipment, and materials.

2. Examination Administration: Oversee the entire examination process, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Coordinate with relevant staff members to arrange exam logistics, including registration, seating arrangements, and distribution of exam materials.

3. Examination Security: Implement and maintain strict security measures to safeguard the integrity of examinations. Ensure the confidentiality and proper handling of exam papers, answer sheets, and other sensitive materials.

5. Results Processing: Coordinate the timely and accurate processing of examination results. Oversee the scoring, recording, and analysis of exam papers, ensuring compliance with grading standards and guidelines.

6. Data Management: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records related to examinations, including registration data, results, and statistical information. Generate reports and provide analysis on exam performance and trends.

7. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and revision of examination policies, procedures, and guidelines. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvement.

8. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with students, shool, and other relevant stakeholders regarding examination-related matters. Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

9. Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the examination process. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.

10. Technology Integration: Explore and implement technological solutions to streamline examination processes, such as online registration, automated grading systems, and secure online exam platforms.

11. Committee Participation: Participate in committees and working groups related to examination policies, academic integrity, or assessment strategies. Provide expertise and contribute to decision-making processes.

12. Other duties in Registry as assigned by line manager
