Business Development & Partnership Manager
Position Overview:
The Business Development & Partnership Manager is responsible for driving growth by acquiring new corporate clients and sponsors. This role focuses on expanding partnerships, increasing sponsorship revenue, and enhancing the company's presence in the industry. A key aspect of this position involves understanding potential partners' businesses to identify synergistic opportunities that align with both parties' objectives, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations.
Goals:
Business Growth: Achieve and exceed revenue targets by securing new clients and sponsorships.
Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Roles & Responsibilities:
New Client Acquisition:
o Strategic Partnership Development:
Identify and engage potential corporate clients who are keen in our service.
Develop strategic winning proposals that align with clients' business objectives, and close deals.
o Client Onboarding:
Successfully onboard new corporate clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
Sponsorship Revenue Growth:
o Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Proactively seek out and generate leads for sponsorship opportunities aligned with our events.
o Compelling Sponsorship Proposals:
Develop compelling, customized sponsorship packages that showcase the value and visibility sponsors gain from association with our events.
o Negotiation and Closure:
Lead negotiations with potential sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet revenue targets.
Value Added Sponsorship:
o Proposals & Closure:
Customise sponsorship packages that add value to events eg items for prizes and goodie bags.
Managing, Reporting and Performance Tracking:
Manage sponsorship delivery pre, during and post event
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business development and sponsorship initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and financial transactions.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sponsorship management, or sales, with proven track record of securing corporate clients and sponsorships.
Networking: Extensive network of contacts within top management of multinational corporations (MNCs).
Communication and Negotiation: Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
Technological Proficiency: Experience with AI tools and a demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
Agility: Capacity to think and work swiftly in a dynamic environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
