Job Responsibilities:
- To lead, coach and provide mentorship to the customer service team in operation processes to ensure the team are well trained in the system and processes so that they can handle the daily tasks confidently.
- The person needs to monitor closely to ensure the customer service team follows closely on the standard operating procedures set by the management and must be able to fulfil internal audit and external audit requirements.
- To assist in identifying opportunities to streamline workflows in operations to help improve efficiency.
- Ability to analyse supply chain data to identify trends, identify bottlenecks and identify any inefficiencies (if any) in the supply chain and to propose solutions for improvement.
- The person must be well-versed and knowledgeable in local and overseas regulaƟons and documentaƟon, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements related to logistics and inventory and custom clearance issues.
- To train the customer service team and coordinate with transportation providers to optimize routes and costs, oversee warehouse operations and customer order fulfilment through working closely with the factory stakeholders, sales team, business development and purchasing team.
- Ability to follow through and track of shipments to ensure timely order fulfilment to customers.
- To monitor and ensure no overdue customer orders; highlight and work closely with the sales team, business development and customer service team to actively clear overdue customer orders for deliveries/ shipments arrangement.
- Good team management skill and ability to supervise and mentoring of junior staffs, delegating tasks to the senior staffs and ensuring team goals are met.
- To identify areas for improvement for cost-effectiveness, workflow efficiency and supply chain matters.
