Job Summary:

The Process Technician is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing process within the factory. This role involves monitoring equipment, ensuring that operations run efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and troubleshooting any process-related issues. The Process Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that production goals are met while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Operation and Monitoring:
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on machines to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to the production process.
  • Process Optimization:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to optimize production workflows.
  • Quality Control:
  • Ensure that products meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections and tests.
  • Adjust machine settings and processes to maintain product consistency and quality.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Participate in safety audits and recommend improvements for process safety.
  • Data Recording and Reporting:
  • Record production data, including equipment performance, quality control results, and downtime.
  • Prepare and submit reports on process efficiency, quality control, and production issues.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and quality control teams to achieve production targets.
  • Assist in training new technicians or operators on process and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of production processes and equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and hygiene practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
