As we expand our event portfolio, we are seeking a Conference Sales Manager to lead our sponsorship and delegate sales teams, drive revenue growth, and ensure our events continue to attract top-tier participants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue for conferences.
- Create and manage sales budgets, ensuring profitability and growth.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand Global Engage’s client base.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Oversee and build a high-performing sponsorship sales and delegate sales team.
- Assign leads, set targets, and track performance metrics.
- Foster a results-driven sales culture, ensuring the team meets and exceeds sales goals.
3. Training & Development
- Hire, onboard, and train new sales staff to ensure high performance.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve sales effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and innovative sales techniques to enhance team success.
4. Client & Internal Communication
- Act as a bridge between upper management and sales teams, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, and delegates.
- Represent Global Engage at industry events and meetings to enhance brand presence.
5. Sales Performance & Optimization
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve results.
- Analyze sales data to refine approaches and optimize revenue streams.
- Ensure all sales activities align with the company’s growth objectives.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in conferences, events, or B2B sales.
- Proven track record in leading sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities.
