
Expat Spanish Teacher
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in Spanish.
- Encourage cultural awareness by integrating aspects of Spanish-speaking cultures into lessons.
- Utilize interactive and communicative teaching methods to enhance language acquisition.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and reports while providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and immersive language-learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the language curriculum.
- Participate in school activities, including extracurricular programs and cultural events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, TESOL, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Spanish language instruction.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
- Passion for language learning, cultural exchange, and student engagement.
