  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Overview

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Math & Physics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in Mathematics and Physics, fostering students' problem-solving and analytical skills, and creating a stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Mathematics and Physics based on the curriculum.
  • Develop students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills through real-world applications of math and physics concepts.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies, including practical experiments, technology-based learning, and interactive discussions.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage active student participation and independent learning.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' academic progress and overall development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Organize and participate in academic competitions, STEM-related activities, and science fairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Passion for STEM education and student engagement.
