Job Purpose This Junior Architect will support architectural design projects, focusing on data center and IT infrastructure developments. The Junior Architect will work closely with senior architects, engineers, and project managers to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in high-tech architecture and contribute to impactful global projects. Key Responsibilities & accountabilities • Assist in the design, planning, and development of data center architecture and IT infrastructure projects. • Prepare architectural drawings, schematics, and 3D models using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.). • Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to ensure compliance with project requirements. • Collaborate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, electrical, and mechanical elements into architectural designs. • Support project documentation, including technical reports, presentations, and specifications. • Research and implement sustainable design principles to enhance energy efficiency in data center projects. • Ensure adherence to local and international building codes, regulations, and industry standards. • Participate in client meetings and contribute creative design solutions to enhance project outcomes. • Assist in project coordination and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. • Stay updated on the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices in data center design. Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field. • 1–3 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in data center, IT infrastructure, or commercial projects. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software. • Strong knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design principles. • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards. • Excellent visualization and presentation skills, with attention to detail. • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to design challenges. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. • Effective communication skills and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
