Account Officer 1 • Process Account Payable invoices, payments and other financial transactions. • Update and maintain accounting journals. • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare monthly financial statement schedules • Handle weekly payment and monthly staff claim. • Ensure all claims are complied with company policies and guidelines • Prepares receipt vouchers for all incoming receipts. • To carry out all other duties as and when assigned by his / her immediate superior • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed. Skills & Qualifications: • Preferably experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office especially Ms Excel. • Basic understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures. • Familiar with accounting software or ERP system is a plus. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Attention to detail and able to work with numerical data. Account Officer 2 • To coordinate annual stock take. • Responsible for inventory costing, inventory reconciliation and other costing related matters. • Prepare monthly cost analysis report. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts or movement. • Updates trade purchases details & prepares monthly purchases summary. • Prepares debit notes to suppliers for rejected goods and other charges. • Prepare and check sales listing • Enter all incoming receipts into system. • Prepares CN/DN to customers for adjustments on rejects, price difference etc. • Prepares monthly debtors reconciliation statements for selected customers • To carry out all other duties as and when assigned by his / her immediate superior. • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
