DP Operations Superintendent - Electrical & Electronics Engi

Job Scope Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical and electronic technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of DP systems and associated equipment Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimise the performance and reliability of electrical and electronic systems Analyse system data, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime and maximise operational efficiency Provide technical guidance and support to the DP operations team, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical and electronic maintenance activities Assist with the planning and execution of DP system upgrades and retrofits Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within maritime industry, Marine Construction & Commissioning. Strong knowledge of DP systems, electrical power distribution, and electronic control systems Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technical personnel Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and data analysis tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
