SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Executive (Recruitment) will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with both Malaysia’s and Singapore’s labour laws and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate payroll calculations, statutory contributions, and maintaining payroll records while adhering to the respective labour laws, including Malaysia’s Employment Act 1955, Income Tax Act 1967, and Singapore’s Employment Act, Central Provident Fund Act, and Income Tax Act.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Payroll Processing

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing for both Malaysia and Singapore, including salary calculations, allowances, bonuses, and deductions
  • Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement via bank transfers for both countries
  • Maintain payroll records and generate monthly payroll reports, ensuring compliance with local laws

Compliance & Statutory Contributions

  • Ensure payroll practices comply with Malaysia’s Employment Act 1955, Income Tax Act 1967, and Singapore’s Employment Act and Income Tax Act
  • Calculate and submit statutory contributions for Malaysia: EPF (Employees Provident Fund), SOCSO (Social Security Organisation), EIS (Employment Insurance System), and PCB (Potongan Cukai Bulanan) via LHDN, and Singapore: CPF (Central Provident Fund), Skills Development Levy (SDL), and monthly tax deductions via IRAS
  • Manage overtime and shift allowances in compliance with minimum wage regulations and statutory limits in both countries

Employee Benefits & Claims

  • Administer employee benefits, such as medical claims, allowances, and leave entitlements, in line with both countries’ statutory regulations
  • Manage overtime and other payroll components, ensuring compliance with labour laws
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and tax matters for both countries

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly payroll summaries, salary slips, and year-end tax forms for employees in Malaysia: EA Forms (Form EA) for annual income reporting & Singapore: IR8A forms and related appendices for annual income tax submissions
  • Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records, ensuring data confidentiality as per Malaysia’s PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act 2010) and Singapore’s PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act 2012)
  • Generate payroll reports for management, auditors, and government agencies as required in both countries

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in payroll software such as QuickHR, or related platforms
  • Proven experience in payroll management for both Malaysia and Singapore
  • Keen attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of Singapore and Malaysia labour laws and statutory requirements
  • Ability to always handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Working Hours: 10am - 7pm

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
