Job Description
- Procurement Coordination: Act as the primary interface for complex customer/product needs, coordinating effectively across departments to address issues.
- Material Simulation & Order Management: Coordinate material simulation activities to handle fluctuations in customer orders.
- MRP Analysis: Review and take appropriate actions based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) reports after each run.
- Material Delivery Management: Monitor material deliveries and provide timely updates on any related issues.
- Production Support: Ensure effective material planning to ensure smooth production, and expedite materials as needed.
- Critical Parts Management: Maintain and update the critical parts list daily, ensuring availability for production.
- Meetings & Task Force Calls: Participate in daily operational meetings and task force calls to address critical material supply issues.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor supplier delivery performance to ensure on-time materials availability.
- Material Planning Review: Regularly review planning parameters based on business trends to optimize procurement strategies.
- Inventory Management: Support activities related to inventory control, ensuring monthly coverage and inventory turnover goals are met. Address issues like rejected, obsolete, and overhanging materials.
- Cost Management: Strategically minimize special premium costs, such as those related to changes in shipping mode, and work on freight claims and line-down claims due to supply delays.
- Procure New Parts: Manage procurement of newly released parts and ensure the implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for materials and software.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare necessary reports (e.g., ABC analysis, inventory reports) as required.
- Bosch Production System (BPS) Support: Support BPS activities, including Supplier Kanban systems for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Share knowledge, guide, and support junior planners in their daily tasks to help the team succeed.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate and support other departments to achieve departmental goals.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
- Escalation Management: Address procurement issues impacting a single Value Stream (Level 1) by escalating them promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in any discipline with at least 5 years of related working experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignment or project as necessary.
- Understands impact and consequences of own actions.
- Related working experience in order management and production planning function in manufacturing environment is added advantage.
- Team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Data management and tracking skills.
- Decision making strength is essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to RM7,000.00 per month

Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Procurement: 5 years (Preferred)
- engineering and technology industry: 5 years (Preferred)
