About The Company:
The company operates in the financial services industry, specializing in providing financing solutions and capital management.
Position: Finance Manager (Shah Alam) (Salary up to RM10,000)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts to Top Management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial plans.Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and project ledger functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including Service Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Global Minimum Tax, and ensure timely submission of all tax returns for the company and expatriates.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments.
- Prepare Quarterly Financial Reports for Group consolidation.
- Manage the Treasury function and liaise with bankers on required facilities or bank queries.
- Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounts for subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Company.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and financial software. Experience with the XERO system is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.
- Excellent time management skills with flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct in managing accounting, financial matters, and tax compliance.
