Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Scheduling: Assisting in developing production schedules, considering factors like resources, capacity, and deadlines. This may include creating work orders and production plans.
- Resource Management: Coordinating and allocating resources such as manpower, materials, equipment, and tools effectively. This includes monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely procurement of materials.
- Production Monitoring & Control: Overseeing the production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently. This involves tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions. They may also be responsible for collecting and analyzing production data.
- Quality Control: Ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. This may involve implementing quality checks at various stages of production.
- Cost Control: Monitoring production costs and identifying areas for cost reduction. This includes optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.
