Japanese Company in Malaysia Licensing and Visa Consultant Place: Bangsar South (5 mins to LRT Univeristy) Salary: up to RM6,000 Job Type: Permanent; Full-time WORKING HOURS: Mon – Fri: 9AM – 6PM (Hybrid work and flexible working condition is entitled) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Licensing and Documentation Support * Provide expert consultation on document requirements for new and renewal applications of visas and business licenses. * Prepare and manage immigration and licensing-related documentation. * Assist clients in preparing and submitting applications for essential business licenses, including premises, local council, signboard, and retail trade licenses (e.g., DBKL, MBPJ, MDTCC). * Support licensing for industry-specific operations such as import/export, restaurant, IT/ICT, and general trading or sales permits. * Assist clients in opening bank accounts by providing guidance on required documents and procedures. B.Document Review and Compliance * Conduct thorough reviews of submitted documents and respond to related client inquiries. * Ensure proper filing and organisation of all supporting documents and signed paperwork. * Oversee and maintain client records in compliance with Know Your Client (KYC) regulations. C.Client and Stakeholder Communication * Provide regular status updates to clients and stakeholders until approvals or resolutions are secured. * Respond promptly to client inquiries with accurate and comprehensive information. * Follow up on correspondences with regulatory authorities within 2–3 working days unless client input is required. * Ensure all engagement members, including Japanese consultants, are included in relevant communications. D. Research, Reporting, and Coordination * Conduct research through direct communication with relevant authorities and review industry publications, including online sources and newspapers. * Maintain and update the Work-in-Progress Report, Client Master Report, and related consultant reports on a daily basis. * Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve annual performance targets. E. Billing and Expiry Management * Ensure timely submission of billing requests upon case completion. * Proactively track and notify clients of upcoming license expirations.
