Location: Global (Primary focus on international markets) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Operations Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize our international business operations, supply chain, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing global operations, with a deep understanding of international markets, regulatory compliance, and cross-cultural management. This role requires advanced technical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple geographies. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: - Develop and implement global business strategies to drive growth and operational efficiency. - Oversee international market expansion, including market entry strategies and partnerships. Operations Management: - Optimize global supply chain and logistics operations to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. - Manage international business operations, including procurement, production, and distribution. Technical Expertise: - Utilize advanced ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to streamline operations and improve decision-making. - Implement data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. - Leverage AI and machine learning for predictive analytics and demand forecasting. Compliance and Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. - Manage geopolitical risks and global supply chain disruptions. Team Leadership: - Lead and mentor a diverse, multicultural team across different regions. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Technology Integration: - Oversee the integration of advanced technology systems, including cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity measures. - Implement blockchain technology for supply chain transparency and trade finance. Qualifications: Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in international business operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). - Knowledge of AI/ML applications, blockchain technology, and cloud computing platforms. - Familiarity with logistics and transportation management systems (TMS, WMS). Soft Skills: - Strong leadership and cross-cultural management skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
