Key Responsibilities: 1. Process Optimization & Automation - Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated manufacturing processes for vehicle components. - Utilize Industry 4.0, IoT, and AI-driven analytics to enhance production efficiency and predictive maintenance. 2. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement - Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce cycle time, minimize waste, and improve yield. - Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvements to maximize production uptime. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA) to eliminate process inefficiencies. 3. Manufacturing Process Control & Standardization - Develop and maintain Process Control Plans (PCP), Work Instructions (WI), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency. - Oversee PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and SPC (Statistical Process Control) for defect prevention. - Ensure robust Process Validation (PV) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) for new production lines. 4. New Product Introduction (NPI) & Automotive Component Manufacturing - Support the launch of new automotive components by developing and optimizing production processes. - Collaborate with design, R&D, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products. - Implement pilot runs and process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) to ensure new products meet quality standards. 5. Compliance & Safety Standards - Ensure all processes comply with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and automotive industry safety regulations. - Conduct audits and implement corrective actions for process deviations and non-conformities. - Champion workplace safety, ergonomics, and environmental sustainability initiatives. 6. Team Leadership & Development - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing process engineering team to drive excellence. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automation, or Manufacturing Engineering. - Proven experience in process engineering within the automotive manufacturing sector. - Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and APQP. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process innovation.
