Maintenance Manager

The job responsibilities: - Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure the optimal functioning of facilities and equipment. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. - Manage a team of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance to ensure a skilled workforce. - Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts and supplies. - Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions to operations. - Establish and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and adherence to financial guidelines. - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to maintenance and safety standards. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated equipment. - Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and service providers, negotiating contracts and overseeing service delivery.
