  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

This position requires extensive knowledge of various GIS tools for mapping, agro-management inputs, maximising yields, profitability and labour productivity in accordance to environmentally friendly and sustainable manners. He / She will report to the Precision Agriculture Manager. Job Description We are seeking for an GIS Assistant Manager to base in our Sabah Plantation. Job Responsibilities: • Ground data collection and measurement using GPS and GIS Instrument, and build plantation spatial database. • Conduct on premise geographical information system (GIS) analysing / digitizing work for oil palm mapping data. • Analysing spatial data and designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources • Producing maps showing the spatial distribution of various kinds of data • Mapping of canals, drainage and other land use areas in the plantation • Assisting the agronomy department in new oil palm replanting procedures • Supporting operational team by providing thematic map or other maps required • Ability to fly drones will be an advantage Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Science Computer / Geoinformatics / Geomatic or equivalent disciplines. • Familiar to use Mapping Software (ArcGis, QGIS, GlobalMapper, Agisoft Metashape) • Knowledge of Phyton language and machine learning programming. • Experience in the geospatial / GIS field and web-based application development of oil palm plantation is an advantage. • Good interpersonal and communication skills. • Able to work independently and or with the team. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and IT skills. • Experience in field research and knowledge in oil palm and sustainable agriculture will be an added advantage. • Knowledge and field implementation of GPS/GIS or precision agriculture is an advantage. • Willing to learn, self-motivated, lots of initiative and have high degree of discipline. • Willing to work and live in plantation environment. • Strong planning and organizational skills. • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
