1. To plan, provide and evaluate nursing care and treatment, or as instructed by the Nursing Manager / ACN. 2. To carry out all Doctors’ prescribed treatment to the patients, to observe and record all the conditions of patients and to report accordingly of any adverse events to the Nursing manager / ACN. 3. To check, administer and record the administration of prescribed drugs. 4. To set up intravenous therapy as ordered by Doctor’s, practice and to record accordingly. 5. To administer intravenous drugs and to record accordingly. 6. To document, maintain accurate nursing records of patients and to ensure that all staff are aware of patient’s conditions or any changes in treatment. 7. To take reasonable measure to ensure safety of patients and to report all accidents/ incidents to the Nursing Manager / ACN. 8. To liaise with other departments in the Hospital and to coordinate patients’ investigations and treatment, or as instructed by the Nursing Manager / ACN. 9. To have sound knowledge in the practice of Safety and Health rules, fire drill, cardiac arrest and accident/ incident procedures. 10. To assist the Nursing Manager / ACN in the careful maintenance of ward / unit equipment, preparation of ward inventory and ensure the safe custody of drugs in the ward unit. REQUIREMENT: Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate (APC) from Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia.
